Update On My Upcoming Music Album Playing In Space

As many of you probably know I’m working on my first ever, all-original music album called “Playing In Space!” It’s been a fun journey producing the music and finalizing the tracks and being involved in the creation process. At this rate my album will probably release in either April or May, but no set date is set as of yet. I’m currently working with my graphic designer for the cover art, then it’s writing the album discography such as bio and information on each track! Then, distribution…so, I’m getting there. Calmscape for Relaxation is a music piece I composed and produced this week with the intent to calm your mind and bring inner piece. Most of the time when composing a music track I allow my creativity to guide me and play from my heart! In “Calmscape for Relaxation” feel the chill out tunes draw you in as deep binaural beats (brainwave entrainment) cause a coherent effect in your brainwaves! Relax, sit back and enjoy.

I have combined a 7.83 Hz Schumann Resonance binaural beat, a 10 Hz Alpha frequency to encourage stress relief and a 2.5 Hz Delta Binaural Beat. *Do Not Listen To This Recording While Driving Or Operating Heavy Machinery.*

The BenAPod Podcast Says Farewell!

On February 23rd, 2012 I began a very popular podcast series called The BenAPod Podcast! To date it is one year old and has 30 episodes, it has an audio drama set included and numerous guests. It’s been a fun show to do and has received great feedback and much interaction! At one point last year, four radio stations were airing my podcast, which was awesome! But, even good things sometimes come to an end as will this show. After much thought and consideration, The BenAPod Podcast will no longer make new episodes and is officially cancelled effective immediately. There are several reasons for this, of which I shall explain:

I accomplished my goal with this Internet radio show series! From the beginning I was afraid of failure, as in my life, certain people often made it sound like I was some sort of failure or couldn’t accomplish anything (especially when younger in my teens.) The # 30 feels right and it is one year old! I discussed many topics and had a variety of content on the show!
My creative flow is no longer contributing to this project. Since episode one I remember promising myself to never push the show too far, and when it’s time is done, it’s done! My goal is to always produce high quality audio and music projects when my creativity beckons me too. If I force myself to do something I don’t want to, that project will usually go horribly wrong or be low quality!
This podcast taught me many things. Like: Believing in myself, being brave and speaking my opinion about important issues! This was a learning tool more than anything else. My self confidence also grew, as well as my audio recording and production skills! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of The BenAPod Podcast!

A question you might be wondering is, “Ben, are you leaving podcasting and radio forever?” The answer is no. I’m just leaving The BenAPod Podcast! I may, later this year start producing a new podcast about life experiences and how to deal with situations that arise. Other than that I’m not sure. I’m talking with someone now and could be a part time co-host on their new podcast starting in June!

So, many thanks to everyone who supported The BenAPod Podcast and it’s success! I appreciate every comment, feedback, listener and support of the show during its time. As you know, I’m working on music mainly right now, as well as blogging! I’ll still be around. Thank you so much for helping me and encouraging my creative endeavors! Be well.
